A Mighty Treasure
“Because of unusual circumstances, our study group needed to find an 8-week study. Having received Breakfast On the Beach as a gift and having loved using it as a weekly devotional, I suggested the group use it taking each day as our week’s study. I personally had been totally captured by the book and the extraordinarily beautiful way it is written – the inclusion of pertinent scripture, the incredible visuals used and especially the prayers at the end of each day’s devotion. The group agreed to do that.
“As we closed the study on our last session, there was both joy and sadness. Joy for the way it brought us to a closer, more humbled view of God’s creation – its majesty and its promise. The sharing it evoked brought laughter and tears along with new revelation of our Lord.

“Burdened by the recent events of my family, I took this book to the shores of the Andaman Sea off the coast of Thailand. I let the poetic words wash over my hurting heart. Even if there is no ocean nearby, you will hear the crash of the waves and feel the sand between your toes when you read this book.”
—Wanda Stewart, Pacific Rim Region, International Mission Board, SBC.
“Don’t go the beach without this book!”
—Dr. Steven Smith, professor of preaching, Southwestern Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.
