Description

This touching true story begins in Indiana in 1997, shortly after Courtney graduated from college. Left with a life-threatening brain injury, her brave struggle back to her family and a productive life is most inspiring. With the love and help of family, friends, and faith, life can take on new meaning.

“Rarely do I find a book that portrays exactly what I experience in dealing with families in crisis due to traumatic injuries, but this book is one of them. I Can’t Remember Me beautifully captures the spiritual journey of the grieving process in the roller coaster ride from despair to hope.”

—Rev. Kal Rissman, Staff Chaplain, Ball Hospital, Muncie, IN

“This is a story of the indomitable human spirit and the faith that guided this family through grief to acceptance and a new life for Courtney.”

—Marion Glanville Hearst, Occupational Therapist, Melbourne, Australia

“Very touching real life story that holds you in its grip. You’ll first experience tears and frustrations and then hope; but most of all, you’ll rejoice at the ability of the human spirit to overcome what seem to be impossible life challenges.”

—Rosemary Humbert, writer, Muncie, IN
