About the Author
She and her husband, Jack, sailed to South
America and worked for seventeen years among the Quechua Indians
in Bolivia's High Andes. In 1986, they returned to New York's
Inner City; then worked among Navajos and Mexicans in the Southwest,
and later were missionaries in Costa Rica.
