About the Author
Ron Birk, a semi-retired campus pastor from
San Marcos, Texas, is a professional communicator for religious
and other groups. He is also a goat rancher, a TV performer, a
former radio disc jockey, sports announcer, and a writer. His
column of inspiration and humor is published in several weekly
newspapers and also currently appears in the Southwestern Texas
