Pedestrian Theology

Discovering Faith One Step at a Time

By Deb Grant

ISBN: 1-880-292-91-2 . $13.95 -20% Web Discount: $11.16.

“Pedestrian” in title only, the book tells the truth in a style that echoes Frederick Buechner, Walter Wangerin, Jr., and Roberta Bondi. This is a book for everyone who has suffered loss, faced their demons, and reached for God and for all who want to assist others in doing the same.

– Dr. Brad A. Binau, Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Trinity Lutheran Seminary

Whether you are a doubter searching for assurance or a believer craving insight, Pedestrian Theology delivers a unique road map to a faithful life.

– Erika Abel, Research Fellow, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Intensely revealing, Pedestrian Theology is the story of Deb Grant’s life. More importantly, it is also the story of each of our own humble lives. Rev. Grant provides a unique insight about our own intimate relationship with God.

– Kurt Senske, author of Personal Values: God’s Game Plan For Life
and Chief Executive Officer of Lutheran Social Services

In a day when faith is too often described with platitudes and jargon, her insight is keen and her honesty refreshing. Pedestrian Theology is a remarkable event that leaves no one untouched.

– Craig Borchardt, Senior Pastor, Peace Lutheran Church, College Station, Texas

Deb Grant is associate pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in College Station, Texas and the Lutheran campus pastor serving students at Texas A&M University.
