Description

Ann Siegle Drege has co-authored with her late father, Pastor Ray Siegle, his caringbridge inspirational thoughts and updates written during his two-year encounter with pancreatic cancer. He wrote faithfully every week, stressing the importance of hope when facing a terminal illness.

Ray served parishes in several North Dakota towns, including Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. After retirement he served as interim pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN. Every week Ray conferred with Ann while writing his inspirational updates. A 1982 Concordia College graduate, Ann Siegle Drege, Ph.D., is now an English professor in Fredonia, New York. Her father was a 1956 Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) graduate along with her mother, Ruth.

Pastor Siegle was awarded the Concordia Alumni Achievement Award posthumously in 2006.
